Philosper: Antoine Lavoisier
Antoine Lavoisier was born on August 26, 1743 in Paris France and died on May 8, 1794. He was a french nobleman and chemist. He is known to be the father of modern Chemistry. He was born into a wealthy family. He was well enducated. He also went to law school but never became a lawyer. But during the french revolution he was accused of a crime and was beheaded.

He was also the first to establish that sulfur as an element rather than a compound. He opposed the phlogiston theory. Witch he fought Joseph Priestly on.
